Grave pasión encantadora
I´m learning to read and write and I like to do it on my own. All
help is very welcome
Dear friend,
I´ve never understood modern art. At least until now, because last Tuesday I saw the pic of an artist and it was an old photo of a woman and the artist had painted on her eyes and other parts of the portrait. The painting, in shades black and grey, had a profound effect on me. Is she dressed in mourning?

The model depicts a woman in her forties or maybe fifties –in
the past people made look old at this age- and my eyes focus on her eyes first.
Soft, sweet and sad light blue eyes.
I didn´t understand the painting until I saw the object on her
breast. They are two red circles which take me a little time to identify:
handcuffs.
It was that moment in when I got it. What the artist wanted to say
me. I know that everyone can think different ideas about the same picture but
to me it was clear: women around the world have always been under men control.
Man has abused of woman in every sense, about job and politics,
about justice and education, about sexuality…
About sexual harassment, what can I say?
Your affectionate.
Mary
