A very expensive pic

The monotonous puff-puff-puff from the sprinkler on the grass sounds like a lullaby for the nap.
The sings of the cicadas and the crickets overlap at dusk.

A heat wave after another one. This summer is being insufferable for it started in May here in the Algarve.
It seems all people are snoozing. All people are on holiday. If you see the thickness of the newspapers you can think the journalists are resting too. Are there no news?

Two Chinese were fined € 500 because of the Nazi salute.

They were at the Reichstag building and these two simpletons didn´t know, o maybe did, that some things are banned in Germany: the Nazi salute amongst them.
These tourists wanted to take a nice photo giving a Nazi salute. I don´t know whether the picture went blurred or not but the attempt was worth it!
They can sell their photos and earn some money paid by someone.
Chinese people are starting to make tourism now and, of course, they don´t know some rules.
Chinese people and no-Chines people should know that in Germany the Nazi symbols are illegal. And they are illegal because when the war finished all German was defeated. Germany fought against other countries, they bet and they lost. They understood that what had brought them to defeat had been something monstrous and they had to condemn.
However, something very different happens in other countries. Take Spain´s case. There is a winner here. After a civil war one of the factions wins and for generations will show off the other their paraphernalia. Even the “pazo”, the Dictator´s house, is exhibited as the magnanimity of its owner. I say no more.

From my Borstal.
