        Postponed trip

This time it could not be. The damn bug is getting people's plans to fall apart and, as written on a sheet of paper, wrinkled and thrown into the trash can, because we don't know when they will start up again.

Godoy has not fulfilled his desire to travel to the Orkney Islands and visit the ancient sites that emerge from the Mainland. As he tells me, he planned to fly to Edinburgh and from there by train to Aberdeen, then Inverness, Thurso and Stromness. The return would be done stopping in Kingussie and Perth and getting back on the plane in the Scottish capital to land in Seville.

In Aberdeen he wanted to see the Aberdeen Art Gallery, which he has heard is home to an excellent collection of Impressionist art. In Inverness he would have liked to 'get lost' on Ness Island and enjoy the Botanic Gardens. He was very interested in knowing the train station (you know that whenever he can he chooses this means of transport) of Thurso. Once settled in Stromness, he had decided to spend a day in Kirkwall and another two to cycle through the fields of Skara Brae, Stenness, Broch of Gurness and Brough of Birsay. In Kingussie he would travel part of the Speyside way and photograph the top of Ben Macdui possibly already with snow. Finally, Perth and Smeaton's Bridge.

This time, Fran, there are no photos to send you.
